Blood, sweat and tears! That is what it costed me to build this crawler crane model (1:50) in Mammoet colors. I am used to making the mobile crane models, but these crawlers are a world on it’s own, all the reeving work is amazing!
Making details in 1:50 I am glad this is stuff isn’t as fragile in real life.
Fully erect it’s about 1,8m high.
In real life this is a medium crawler crane with a lifting capacity of 280tons and an operational weight of 224,4 tons!

The Euromax Terminal went commercially operational on 1 january 2009. It has 1,5km of quay side and the harbor has a depth of 19,65 meters.
